Master Shi Xing Hao was born in Fushun City, Liaoning Province, China. He is a 32nd generation disciple of the Shaolin Temple and one of the three Shaolin tigers.
After touring more than 30 countries with the Shaolin Warrior Monks of Song Shan, Master Shi Xing Hao opened the Shaolin Kung Fu Academy in 2001. The Academy is an institution which provides Kung Fu, Wushu, Tai Chi and lion dance classes to adults and kids starting at 5yrs old.
Since its establishment, numerous students have been selected into the US national team, representing the United States to participate in world-class martial arts competition, and have won many awards. These students have won world championships 24 times and won national championships more than 200 times.
Shixing Hao
Coach Victor has trained under Grandmaster Shi Xing Hao since age 10, specializing in Traditional Shaolin Kung Fu and Modern Wushu. His dedication has earned him numerous gold medals in martial arts and lion dance competitions, including leading the HSKFA Lion Dance Team to win the 2012 “Lion King” title and earning 1st Place Top Honors in the 2022 Shaolin Kung Fu Online Games.
As Performance Director and leader of Houston Shaolin Kung Fu Academy’s Demonstration and Lion Dance Team, Coach Victor has promoted Shaolin culture across Texas for over 20 years through community events and showcases. He has trained both recreational and competitive students, including national champions and USAWKF Team Members who have represented the U.S. internationally. Coach Victor remains committed to advancing his students’ success and sharing the spirit of Shaolin Kung Fu.
Victor Hu
Master Anthony Nguyen began his martial arts journey at the age of 10, starting with Taekwondo. Over the past four decades, he has trained extensively across multiple disciplines — including Hapkido, Judo, Shaolin Kung Fu, Hung-Gar, and Wushu — blending traditional techniques with modern self-defense principles.
As a Certified Sanda Coach with the United States of America Wushu-Kungfu Federation (USAWKF) and a Certified Master Instructor with the Hosin-Hapkido Federation, Master Nguyen has shared his expertise across Texas, teaching at community centers, universities, and schools.

Vic Hung
Avery has been training in Kung Fu since the age of four at the Houston Shaolin Kung Fu Academy. Over more than a decade of practice, Avery has competed nationally and internationally, earning multiple titles.
At the 2023 Pan-American Kungfu Championships in Ontario, Canada, Avery won Gold in Double Broadsword, Silver in the Team Event (Team USA), and Bronze in Shaolin Barehand and Traditional Staff. He also earned multiple medals at the USAWKF National Championships and represented the U.S. at the World Shaolin Kungfu Games in 2022. Avery began teaching in June 2023 and loves helping younger students grow in skill and confidence. He currently teaches Kung Fu classes on Sundays at 1:30 PM and 2:30 PM.
