Our Instructors

Coach Victor has been training directly under Grandmaster Shi Xing Hao since the age of 10. With specialties in Traditional Shaolin Kung Fu and extensive knowledge in Contemporary Modern Wushu, Coach Victor’s dedication and passion for the art led to many successes in his kung fu journey which includes medaling gold in various martial art and lion dance championships. He led the HSKFA Lion Dance Team to win gold with the title “Lion King” in the 2012 Legends of Kung Fu Lion Dance Tournament and also earned 1st Place Top Honors in the international 2022 Shaolin Kung Fu Online Games in every category he competed in.

Coach Victor is also the Performance Director and leader of Houston Shaolin Kung Fu Academy’s Demonstration/ Lion Dance Team which has helped spread Shaolin culture to the local community through charitable events and statewide showcases for over 20 years. Under his leadership within the school, he has trained both recreational and competitive practitioners and helped train many National Grand Champions in both traditional kung fu and modern wushu competitions including USAWKF Team Members (Wushu and Traditional Kung Fu) who represented the US and medaled in international competitions. As a leading member of our teaching staff, Coach Victor continues to strive for the success of our students and the promotion of Shaolin Kung Fu culture.
