About us
Master Shi Xing Hao is a 32nd generation disciple of the Shaolin Temple and one of the three Shaolin tigers.
He was born in Fushun City, Liaoning Province, China. After touring more than 30 countries with the Shaolin Warrior Monks of Song Shan, Master Shi Xing Hao opened the Shaolin Kung Fu Academy in 2001. The Academy is an institution which provides Kung Fu, Wushu, Tai Chi and lion dance classes to adults and kids starting at 5yrs old.
The Academy is highly regarded and supported by the mainstream society and the Chinese community.
Based on the outstanding contribution of the Academy to Sino-US cultural and sports exchanges, President George H.W. Bush and Congressman Al Green, Congressman Sheila Jackson Lee, Congressman Nick Lampson, Texas Governor Rick Perry, Texas State Senator Gene Wu, Houston Mayors Bill White and Annice Parker, and Sylvester Turner all have given many awards and honorary certificates to Master Shi Xing Hao and the Houston Shaolin Kungfu Academy.
Mayor Annice Parker inaugurated Kung Fu Day as March 28th in our honor.
